| David Granatstein serves as Sustainable Agriculture Specialist for the Washington State University (WSU) Center for Sustaining Agriculture and Natural Resources, where he was hired as the first full-time faculty member in 1993. He has worked on sustainable agriculture for over 30 years, with degrees in natural resources and soil science and experience in Washington, Minnesota and a number of other countries. He has been involved in various educational research programs including organic standards, agricultural composting, organic fruit production, Climate Friendly Farming, biochar, and insect biocontrol. He was a founding member of the Food Alliance, and sits on the Organic Advisory Board for Washing State. |
