Certified organic farms that implement new conservation practices to reach even higher levels of environmental performance are also eligible. Growers have until June 26th to apply for this funding. To read more about EQIP funding, go to: http://www.nrcs.usda.gov/programs/eqip/

The 6 core practices are: Conservation Crop Rotation; Cover Crop; Nutrient Management; Pest Management; Prescribed Grazing; and Forage Harvest Management.
