Since 1978 Kettle Foods has been providing all natural great tasting snack foods.  We have used organic ingredients since 1983 and have been a certified OTCO processor since 1990.

Since our humble beginnings we have strived to make the best tasting snacks using the best ingredients.  Consumers have responded as our flagship brand Kettle™ Chips, which we first produced in 1982, are now the number one selling natural potato chip in the USA.

In April of 2007 we opened the first Gold LEED® certified food production facility in the USA in Beloit, WI.  Its features include on site wind power generation, extensive water recycling, use of recycled construction materials, use of natural light and a 5 acre native prairie restoration.  

At our HQ in Salem, OR we have one of the largest PV solar power arrays in the Pacific NW, have restored a 2 acre wetland adjacent to our factory, and use 100% organic inputs on our entire campus landscape. 

At both facilities we offset our electrical power with 100% wind power offsets thru the purchase of Renewable Energy Credits and have all our used cooking oil recycled into biodiesel which we use to run three company cars.
