Spring Seed SaviorsOregon Tilth's quarterly magazine

In Good Tilth (IGT)  magazine is the premier voice in the sustainable agriculture movement, and continues to break new ground.

The spring edition is here

Each issue of IGT offers valuable insights on the sustainable ag movement from seed to plate. Its themes are timeless. Features include yard and garden tips, tools from extension agents, producer profiles; research updates and innovative news; additionally, there are classified ad listings and  a calendar of upcoming events in the Northwest and beyond.

IGT publishes seasonally each quarter and year's subscription is one of many benefits of Oregon Tilth membership. Free pickup locations abound in the Pacific NW, generally at organic food stores serviced by Organically Grown Company. IGT also publishes as a flipbook online.

You can browse past articles and download full issues from the IGT Archive.

Contributions in the form of letters to the editor, photos, investigative stories, personal profiles, comments and anecdotes are encouraged. Classified ads opportunities are available. Calendar events are listed for free in IGT.  For more info on contribution options, please see our Contribute page.

IGT content is of the highest journalistic quality and has been reprinted extensively. Utne Reader features our authors Joel Preston Smith and Conner Voss.
