Goodbye Luscher Farm

Oregon Tilth committed over 15 years to our demonstration garden at Historic Luscher Farm  which occupies over 6,000 square feet of rich, cultivated soil. Due to changing focus and resources, we departed from this lush site in the Spring of 2013. We plan on focusing our efforts in delivering classes in a mobile format locally and regionally. The garden featured a variety of organic food growing demonstrations, from year round gardening to urban composting techniques. During our tenure at Luscher Farm, our garden served as a teaching tool for the public to learn about organic gardening techniques and served as a hands-on classroom during our workshops. Our goal was and still is to educate urban gardeners about the ease and abundance of organic gardening and supply them with the resources needed to put organic techniques into practice. Even though we have moved on to deliver our curriculum elsewhere, the farm is still open daily from dawn until dusk and visitors are always welcome!

Luscher Farm is located in West Linn, just outside of Portland, OR.  This thriving agricultural park is owned by the City of Lake Oswego and stewarded in partnership with Lake Oswego Parks and Recreation Community Gardens, 47th Ave Farm, a 10-acre Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) operated by Laura Masterson; and the Rogerson Clematis Collection.
