The initiative is focused on listening to farmers and ranchers
throughout the state to identify land use policy issues that could be
adapted to help producers remain viable and profitable (http://www.friends.org/NewFaceofFarming). We will be using your feedback to craft our 2012 legislative agenda so your voice truly matters!
We would like to hear from producers of different sizes and approaches
to obtain broad feedback on this issue; small to large, commodity to
CSA, livestock to vineyards, etc. Our Midvalley/Coastal meeting will
take place in Corvallis on the evening of November 16th. Please find
complete details below.
Listening sessions are limited to agricultural professionals and RSVP's are required. If you wish to participate, please contact Ben Gordon, ben@friends.org.
