Gwendolyn Wyard Organic Trade Association Gwendolyn Wyard holds a degree in Food Science with a Fermentation Science Option and a minor in Chemistry. She received her certificate as an independent inspector through the Independent Organic Inspector's Association (IOIA) in 1997. Gwendolyn worked for many years as the Processing Program Technical Specialist for Oregon Tilth. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Organic Standards and Industry Outreach for the OTA.

Gayle Goschie
Goschie Farms If you're a fan of beer, then you've likely tried Gayle Goschie's hops. Goschie Farms has provided organic hops to breweries including Deschutes, Hopworks, and Widmer. Goschie Farms has been growing hops since the 1880s, and a large section of their 350 acres are dedicated to growing them in the most sustainable, eco-friendly way: organically. Like her father who was a major player in the international hop industry, Gayle earned a most prestigious award: the International Order of the Hop.
