For three decades, EcoFarm’s flagship event has brought food system stakeholders together for education, networking and celebration. With over 60 workshops featuring prominent speakers on the latest advances in agricultural techniques, marketing strategies, research and other important food system issues, along with organic meals and lively entertainment, the Eco-Farm Conference is the largest sustainable agriculture gathering in the western United States.

We have no shortage of important and timely issues for our 30th Anniversary Ecological Farming Conference: water, food safety, liquid fertilizers, and compost among others. In these chaotic and unstable times, it is ever more important for us all to come together for education, inspiration and creative solution-building as we face the challenges and opportunities. Through hard work, persistence and dedication, we’ve come a long way in 30 years. What will the next 30 bring? Fitting with this year’s theme, “EcoFarm: Where the Future is Planted,” we are proud to be launching EcoFarm GenNext, a partnership with California Farmlink, which will feature an expanded beginning farmer track at the conference and in-between conference activities and networking for the next generation of EcoFarmers. And responding to seasoned farmers looking for more in-depth workshops, we have organized several double-sessions this year, kicking it off with “Advanced Soil Fertility.” We have a great lineup of speakers and workshops this year and welcome you to help us plant the future at The 2010 Ecological Farming Conference.
