Eighth annual Local Food Connection, Monday, Feb 3, 2014, Lane Community College in Eugene, OR.
 
Drawing together more than 200 food producers and food buyers from the region, this one day business-to-business event offers a unique venue for creating new business connections through networking sessions, educational workshops, local luncheon, and a vendor trade show.
 
The theme of the 2014 conference is Demystifying Distribution: Creative Solutions for Complex Problems.  Our keynote will be a panel representing several local distributors- including Emerald Fruit & Produce, GloryBee  Foods, Hummingbird Wholesale, McDonald Wholesale and Organically Grown Company - sharing their stories about how they have successfully worked with farmers and ranchers to distribute local products.
 
Cost to attend is $30 and the cost to have a vendor table is $60.
 
The event is presented by Cascade Pacific Resource Conservation & Development (CPRCD).  Founding Sponsors are Eugene Water & Electric Board, Oregon Tilth, and Lane Community College Center for Meeting and Learning.  Gold Sponsors are McDonald Wholesale, Mountain Rose Herbs, Neighborhood Economic Development Corporation (NEDC0), and Northwest Health Foundation.
