Oregon State University will host a one-day workshop on edible landscaping at the OSU North Willamette Research and Extension Center on June 16th from 8:30am-4:15pm. The Center is at 15210 NE Miley Road, Aurora, OR.

This workshop is for anyone interested in learning more about use of edible plants in the landscape. Home Gardeners, Landscapers and Nursery personnel are encouraged to attend. The workshop will start with a historical perspective of landscape design, before offering a look at the principles and practice of permaculture. We will also hear about how to choose and grow a wide array of fruits and herbs adapted to western Oregon in the home landscape. Because this is a catered event, registration will close June 8, 2010 and seating is limited.
