FSMA, Organic Processors and HACCP: An Overview
In this informative Webinar, experts from the Organic Trade Association and NSF Training and Education present an overview of the Food Safety Modernization Act as it applies to the organic processor.
OTA Regulatory Director - Organic Standards and Food Safety, Gwendolyn Wyard, and NSF Training and Education Lead Technical Trainer, Margaret Kolk, will discuss FSMA, its requirements for the identification of potential food safety hazards and the implementation of protective controls using HACCP, the globally accepted food safety system. The presentation focuses on the common elements of the HACCP System and the Organic Systems Plan and the potential for integrating the two.
