Starting at 9 AM on Saturday morning, Lydia will guide participants through an overview of earthen plaster basics. Then the sifting and mixing will begin! Dirty hands will slap and cajole natural plaster to the walls. An organic lunch will be served at 1pm, followed by more hands-on experience. The dinner show will be Lydia’s glamshot earthenworks presentation followed by socializing 'round the campfire.

On Sunday after breakfast, we will move from the browncoat to the finish coat till lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll take a tour of a local cob cottage demonstration site. Inspired, you’ll return home to design and implement your own earth-based project.

Workshop fee: $100-$150, Adults (sliding scale), Teens (13-19) $50. Includes: instruction in the art of earthen plaster, four organic, locally-grown homemade meals and camping.
