NRCS Conservation Practices, Organic Management and Soil Health
Dr. Susan Andrews will provide an overview of NRCS' Soil Health Initiative and then present the Intermediate Disturbance Hypothesis to explain why organic practices can be part of this effort. Drs. Michelle Wander and Carmen Ugarte will review the NRCS enrollment tool for the Conservation Stewardship Program and discuss how well organic practices perform when evaluated by this tool.
