The Xerces Society for Invertebrate Conservation, Oregon Department of Agriculture and the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) are pleased to announce an upcoming Pollinator Conservation Planning Short Course in Oregon. This full day training will provide you with the latest science-based approaches to reversing the trend of pollinator declines, and will equip you with the recipes necessary to protect and manage habitat for these vital insects.
The National Organic Program requires producers to maintain or improve natural resources including biodiversity. Pollinator conservation can provide a convenient framework for meeting biodiversity certification requirements while at the same time enhancing farm productivity.
SHORT COURSE DETAILS:
Registration is $45 per person. NRCS personnel should register through Erin Kurtz at Erin.Kurtz@or.usda.gov.
Lunch is not included. Please plan on bringing a sack lunch with you to the course.
