Governor’s Proclamation: Governors from several states have signed proclamations to establish this 2nd week of November as Sustainability Education Week in their states, including Oregon, Washington, New Mexico and Connecticut. Their proclamations can be viewed at the U.S. Partnership website:
National Webinar: November 10, 3 - 4:30 PM Pacific Time.  In support of this week the K-12 and Teacher Education Sector of the U.S. Partnership will once again present a national webinar, entitled “Educating Students for Sustainability: Case Studies from around the Country”. It will showcase the skills, knowledge, attitudes and beliefs a student educated for sustainability needs in order to be prepared for active citizenship, higher education, 21st century careers and life-long learning.
