Governor’s Proclamation: Governors from several states have signed proclamations to establish this 2nd week of November as Sustainability Education Week in their states, including Oregon, Washington, New Mexico and Connecticut. National Webinar: November 10, 3 - 4:30 PM Pacific Time. In support of this week the K-12 and Teacher Education Sector of the U.S. Partnership will once again present a national webinar, entitled “Educating Students for Sustainability: Case Studies from around the Country”. It will showcase the skills, knowledge, attitudes and beliefs a student educated for sustainability needs in order to be prepared for active citizenship, higher education, 21st century careers and life-long learning.
