Tyler Jones interned with world-renowned sustainable farmer, author, and speaker Joel Salatin For a year on Joel's Virginia farm. Tyler came back to Corvallis and started Afton Field Farm. Tyler is a young community farmer selling his meat, eggs and honey to local restaurants, individual customers, metropolitan buying clubs, and farmer's market.

Workshop Focuses:

  • Methods of raising animals in a symbiotic relationship.
  • Using Intensive Rotational Grazing
  • Demonstrate on-farm processing of poultry
  • Tricks of the Trade in direct-marketing meats to a local community
