The 2012 Sustainable Herb Conference is scheduled for Saturday, March 24, from 9 - 5 pm. The earliest herb gathering of its kind in the Willamette Valley is also affordable, cost of admission to The Sustainable Herb Conference is on a sliding scale: $5 - $25 for the entire conference, with ages 12 and under free. This is a non-profit event with all proceeds going to cover our expenses.
The conference will be held simultaneously in two locations:
The main conference will take place at LBCC's Benton Center, 757 Northwest Polk Avenue in Corvallis. Additionally, our herbal demonstration classes will happen at the kitchen inside The Corvallis Multicultural Literacy Center, 128 SW 9th, Corvallis.
The Sustainable Herb Conference's mission is to provide a variety of inexpensive and exciting herbal and related experiences for the public in order to encourage the holistic and sustainable use of herbs in people's everyday lives.
To accomplish this vision, The Sustainable Herb Conference will be offering simultaneous workshops and presentations on the limitless subject of herbalism in six different categories: medicinal/clinical; energetic/spiritual; culinary/craft; nature, farm and garden; story telling; and herb walks.
