Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said that Senate debate on a clean energy bill will begin this month. However, Senate leadership has not committed to including caps on greenhouse gas emissions and beginning to address climate change.
Please call Senators urging them to support clean energy legislation that begins to tackle climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions and supporting sustainable agricultural responses to climate change.
It's easy to call:

The message is simple:
"I am call from (name of town). I'm calling to urge the Senator to support comprehensive climate change and clean energy legislation. Agriculture is uniquely vulnerable to climate change impacts. We need comprehensive climate legislation that reduces greenhouse gas emissions and supports sustainable farming efforts to reduce emissions, boost on-farm renewable energy and conserve energy."
