Help Save Organic Citrus

Citrus Greening remains a major threat to our U.S. Citrus supply with an already 90,000 acres affected by the disease. The Organic Center has kicked off a major multi-year study and fundraising campaign to find organic solutions to ward off citrus greening and help organic citrus growers fight the deadly disease without resorting to dangerous chemicals or genetic engineering.

Oregon Tilth is dedicated to biologically sound and socially equitable agriculture. As a part of our mission, we pursue solutions to challenges facing organic production — pest, disease, drought and more — that put human and environmental health first.

And when a solution doesn’t exist? We team up with other organic leaders to meet these problems, such as the growing disease facing organic citrus growers called citrus greening. From farmers losing jobs to producers unable to make juices, they need our help to find non-toxic, non-GMO approaches to beat citrus greening. Learn more from The Organic Center, leading the way (with your help) to find ecologically safe alternatives to save organic citrus.
