NOP: Revised Labeling Training and NOSB Meeting Update
Information on our revised training module on labeling organic products and yesterday's "NOP Update" from the National Organic Standards Board meeting.
At this year's training session for USDA Certifying Agents, the National Organic Program announced that it was making changes and updating its training module for labeling of organic products.
We are pleased to announce that the revised labeling module is now ready for viewing. The updated module has been restructured to include textiles and alcohol labeling information, as well as general information concerning use of the USDA seal, product composition, etc.
This module and other similar training modules are intended for use by USDA Certifying Agents, to be reviewed as part of an ongoing training program and as a reference guide. The module is located with other training material on the NOP website.
