Organic Land Care Accreditation and Training for the Landscape Professional

 

Oregon Tilth, a nonprofit organization supporting and promoting biologically sound and socially equitable agriculture through education, research, advocacy, and certification, is pleased to announce a new program designed to accredit sustainable landscaping practices. 

Oregon Tilth is offering a five-day training for professionals focusing on organic landscape practices including Integrated Pest Management, soil building, sustainable landscape design, organic weed management, marketing organic land care, storm water management, tree care, sustainable resources and more.

Participants who complete the training, pass an examination, and agree to program policies will be eligible for Oregon Tilth Organic Land Care Accreditation.

Registration fee: $530 for 5-day Training. Workshop cost includes a copy of the Oregon Tilth Organic Land Care Field Guide, along with the Oregon Tilth Organic Land Care Policies and Standards, training materials and local/organic lunch and snacks. The accreditation examination will be available on the last day of the training for an additional cost of $100. This fee must be paid at with the registration fee.
