Oregon Tilth Nominated for Edible Portland Local Hero Award!
Oregon Tilth has been nominated in the 2nd Annual Local Hero Awards for their contribution to the region's local food movement.
Edible Portland, a quarterly magazine dedicated to sharing the food & farming culture of our region, has selected Oregon Tilth as a nominee in their 2nd Annual Local Hero Awards for our significant contribution to the region's local food movement. The awards are given in five categories: Chef/Restaurant, Farm/Farmer, Non-Profit, Food Artisan and Beverage Artisan.
The Northwest community will vote to select a winner through Edible Portland's annual readers’ survey. Find a link to the survey at www.edibleportland.com. Once inside, you’ll reach the list of nominees on the second to last page.
Edible Communities, the national network of magazines of which Edible Portland is a member, awards community members from around the country and will select one winner from each category nationwide to honor at their annual meeting in Santa Fe, NM in January. The annual meeting is attended by food magazines and writers from around the country along with Food Network and Saveur magazine so this is an opportunity to promote your business to a national food audience. Please vote for Oregon Tilth in the non-profit category and select a recipient from each other category to represent the region. Feel free to share this news with your friends and customers and have them take the survey.
