Every voice counts and we want to hear yours!
Join us by voting on the proposal to restructure the organization with CCOF.

We realize the proposed restructure is complicated - in particular the legal requirement to sell the Oregon Tilth certification program to achieve the new structure. We have done our best to clarify the process, intent and outcomes. If you have questions please call 503.378.0690 or email us.

We want to be transparent and ensure you understand the proposal. The CCOF-Oregon Tilth restructure will result in three separate but linked entities to establish a single enterprise culture. This email highlights the benefits and structure of the CCOF Tilth, Inc. entity, which will focus on advocacy, memberships, regional chapters, marketing of organic, strengthening our education agenda and more. Aditional structure details of other entities will follow in future communications.

CCOF Tilth, Inc
  • A 4,200 member-strong national trade association advocating on behalf of organic producers, processors, handlers and consumers
  • All Oregon Tilth supporting members & clients become voting members
  • Over half of CCOF Tilth, Inc’s membership falls within the USDA small farmer designation
  • Increased advocacy efforts that support the organic trade. Effective action alert systems and visits with legislators to support important issues affecting organic programs
  • Interim Board that will include all 7 current Oregon Tilth Board members
  • Governed by a member-elected board of 15, comprised of 11 certified and 4 supporting members
  • All Oregon Tilth and CCOF members are encouraged to participate on the boards of CCOF Tilth, Inc and CCOF Tilth Foundation to ensure the organic needs of your community are fully met
