Eat Well Guide

A free online guide to finding local, sustainable, organic food in the US and Canada.

The Eat Well Guide is a free online directory of thousands of family farms, restaurants, markets and other outlets that offer local, fresh and sustainable food in the United States and Canada. Visitors simply enter a zip or postal code to search for food that is free of antibiotics and added hormones, and produced by healthy and humane methods that include organic, pasture-raised and heritage.

The Eat Well Guide began as a project of Sustainable Table. Developed as a solution to the problems with factory farms and industrially-raised animal products, The Guide launched on November 3, 2003, along with The Meatrix. The Eat Well Guide is currently its own program and continues to be one of the only free online directory of farms, stores, restaurants, bed & breakfasts, and other outlets that offer local, fresh and sustainable food in the US and Canada.
