WSAWG is a non-profit organization bringing together diverse individuals and groups working in sustainable agriculture and food systems to share successful models, realize our collective strengths, build regional capacity and inform the agriculture policy debate.

Western SAWG addresses issues that no one of its members can completely and effectively tackle on its own here in the West.  Western SAWG serves as a clearinghouse for agricultural policy, program models and analysis.  We provide region-wide issue development, develop joint collaborative projects and conferences, and can offer project endorsements for member initiatives. Our area of operation includes organizations and individuals located within the states of Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, Wyoming, and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan.
