This webinar shares Oregon Tilth’s analysis of the market for organic specialty crops in Oregon. We report on our study of wholesale buyers’ purchasing of organic specialty crops in the 2014 season, highlighting demand for organic specialty crops that is currently not being met by Oregon growers and represents an opportunity for expansion of current acreage and transition to organic. We also discuss factors that are limiting current supply and our recommendations for strategies to address these factors.
