Mechanical Cultivation Field Day

Join Oregon State University Extension for a mechanical cultivation field day at the OSU Vegetable Research Farm in Corvallis on Aug 16, from 10:00am-4:30 pm.

Schedule of events:

  • Sutton Ag Enterprises, Tilmor, Solectrac and KULT-Kress will demonstrate their cultivation tools in direct-seeded green beans and transplanted lettuce.
  • Keynote speaker Eric Gallandt (University of Maine Professor of Weed Ecology) will discuss his research into stacked mechanical cultivation systems.
  • Capnote speaker Sam Hitchcock-Tilton (K.U.L.T. Kress) will provide an overview of the tools demonstrated during the day.
