Processed Vegetable Grower-Buyer Networking Event

Are you currently growing for the processed vegetable market and interested in learning more about the demand for organics? Or perhaps you are already certified and would like to diversify or expand your market options for rotation and cover crops? Join fellow growers at the Processed Vegetable Grower – Buyer Networking Event on December 1st to learn more about organic market opportunities in Oregon and connect face to face with organic buyers and processors.

This free half day event will include a networking session aimed at facilitating market relationships and also include presentations on crop rotation management by Oregon State University Extension, organic certification by Oregon Tilth, and conservation programs by the Natural Resource Conservation Service. Lunch will be provided.

* This event is geared toward large acreage growers of sweet corn, snap beans, broccoli, cauliflower and other vegetables for processing. Buyers and processors are encouraged to bring marketing materials, price sheets, etc. to share with growers.
