Water Conservation in Organic Production

Panelists will explore model practices and techniques for organic producers to conserve water in farm production. The requirement to conserve natural resources is a big opportunity to increase sustainability and support on-farm viability around water usage on organic farms. From protecting local watersheds to building soil health that increases water retention, organic farms are leading conservationists for fresh water in the U.S. Learn from panelists about how to decrease water needs, increase waterway protection, and avoid contamination from irrigation sources.
