Testimony to the House Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources Regarding HB 2469

Oregon Tilth provided written testimony to the Oregon House Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources in support of HB 2469. The testimony outlined the adverse impact that insufficient oversight of genetically engineered crops has on all farmers. The testimony goes on to outline how in the absence of effective federal or statewide policy to control GE crops, the Oregon Legislature should reestablish the ability of local communities to address their unique needs.
