Oregon Tilth receives award for excellence in protecting organic integrity
On Tuesday, January 28, 2020 the USDA National Organic Program (NOP) recognized Oregon Tilth for its “exemplary work investigating significant grain fraud cases in 2018-2019.”
The inaugural 2020 Director’s Award was presented in San Antonio, TX as part of an annual NOP certifier training for organic inspectors.
“The quick, thorough work by staff at CCOF, QCS, One-Cert, and Oregon Tilth provided sound evidence to support timely enforcement actions that impact the entire supply chain,” said NOP Enforcement Division Director Betsy Rakola. “We appreciate these good people for helping USDA ensure consumers get what they pay for when they buy USDA Certified Organic products for their families.”
Our commitment to building a brighter food future goes back over 40 years.
Oregon Tilth is proud to enforce the organic standards. Each day, we’re excited to do our part to celebrate and advocate for hardworking certified organic producers across the US.
