Introducing the Pandemic Response and Safety Grant Program
The Pandemic Response and Safety (PRS) Grant Program from USDA AMS funds specialty crop producers and processors, other select producers, meat and other processors, distributors, and farmers markets for costs incurred in response to working during coronavirus.
Examples of costs incurred in response to working through the coronavirus include workplace safety costs, pivoting markets and retrofitting facilities for worker and consumer safety.
-Applicants must have documentation of costs incurred and show they have received no other federal funds in response to coronavirus.
-Funding requests may range from $1,500 – $20,000
-The program intends to reimburse operator costs between Jan 27, 2020 – Dec 31, 2021
