Conservation Crop Rotation in Organic Systems: Oregon Implementation Guide

The purpose of this document is to provide guidance for implementing the NRCS Conservation Crop Rotation (328) practice in organic systems in Oregon. Crop rotation refers to a planned sequence of crops grown on the same ground over time (i.e., the rotation cycle). Crop rotation can be used to achieve several conservation goals and is required for organically managed systems. This guide discusses considerations for designing a crop rotation based on an organic grower’s conservation goals.
