Innovative Organic Weed Control

This webinar explored the use of “air-propelled abrasive grit” (crushed walnuts, corncobs, olive pits, pelletized organic fertilizers, etc.) for selective weed control. This innovative method has the potential to add a non-tillage weed management option to the organic producer’s tool box.

This webinar was presented in partnership with the USDA NRCS-Science and Technology National Technology Support Centers.

  • Speaker: Frank Forcella, Research Agronomist, USDA Agricultural Research Service, Morris, MN
